Arrested drug trafficker for an execution-style murder and the kidnapping of the victim’s girlfriend. The suspect refused to be recorded because he said he was too smart to go on tape. While transporting him to the jail, I secretly recorded his admissions. Death Row
Investigated the execution-style murder of a Deputy as he worked a detail. I located an abandoned truck a few blocks away and noticed a receipt for a gas station. The two murderers committed suicide rather than face justice.
Supervised an investigation related to the deaths of a 4-year-old child and his grandmother who died in an explosion while inside of a medical hyperbaric chamber at a medical facility. Upon examining all of the chambers and the medical records, we noticed faulty wiring and outdated records. The Medical Doctor and his Chief Safety Director were charged with aggravated manslaughter and pled guilty.
Investigated the bludgeoning murder of a man in a hallway of an apartment complex in Lauderhill. Pattern injuries indicated a metal pipe was used and a tip of a latex glove was also found. I actively tracked the killer through the Mojave Desert to Las Vegas where he was captured. The same latex gloves were found in the killer’s apartment. Life.
Investigated a takeover-style armed robbery of a supermarket in Lauderhill where the suspects held several people hostage and executed a security guard in cold blood. I found a piece of plastic under a cabinet which yielded one latent print and a bullet in a fruit stand linking the suspects to the scene. The three suspects were apprehended in different states; they confessed and were convicted. Life
Investigated the murder of a Deputy that was committed by his ex-wife who lured him to her home and then staged his death as an accidental shooting. The physical evidence proved differently. Life
Sergeant assisting in the investigation of the ambush-style murder of a Deputy that was committed by three men during a traffic stop. I searched the suspect apartment and catalogued all the evidence used in trial. The men were also wanted in connection with multiple murders unbeknownst to the deputies during their traffic stop. Assisted the Missing Persons Unit search for a young woman who was missing under suspicious circumstances. I inspected her apartment and found a speck of blood in the bathroom. Luminol revealed a vast amount of a blood-spatter, indicating blunt trauma. Her boyfriend was arrested and convicted of murder, without the victim’s body ever being found. Life
Investigated a Traffic Crash with Serious Bodily Injury of a man who was run over on a sidewalk while walking his dog. I linked the vehicle to the scene via tire marks, pattern injuries to the victim; coupled with speed calculations indicative of reckless driving. I charged the defendant with DUI Manslaughter; he pled guilty after my deposition.
Investigated the murder on a Tamarac man who was found shot to death inside of his house. The only known witness at the time was an AT&T driver. It was later determined that the driver was under investigation by the DEA for smuggling cocaine on cruise ships with other men. He and three others were charged with Federal Murder.
Investigated the shooting of a man in Tamarac who was shot because he pushed his mother-in-law in the street in front of her home. However, the physical evidence and the man's cell phone recording proved differently. Both the mother and father-in-law actually lured the man to their home so they could kill him, but they failed. The were both charged with Attempted Murder.
Investigated the horrific murders of a wife and her two children who were executed by the husband/father as they sat down at the breakfast table. The father then shot himself in the head. A suicide note written by the father indicated that he killed his entire family to save them from his financial woes.
Responded to Deerfield Beach High School in reference to an armed masked man who forced a woman into a car and fled the area. Upon learning the identity of the woman, I obtained and emergency cellphone order and tracked the phone to a duplex in Coral Springs. After a long standoff and negotiations with me, the suspect gave up and the victim was freed; I also found the gun in the lake behind the duplex.
Investigated the murder of an infant who was buried alive by the mother. I located the burial site near the mother's apartment and assisted with the excavation of the infant. I obtained a confession from the mother who pled guilty to manslaughter.
Investigated the murder of well-known “Fort Lauderdale Strikers” soccer player, David Proctor, who was brutally axed to death by an OxyContin enraged friend. I effected a traffic stop on a man who exited his truck with a bandaged hand. The man later confessed and was charged with murder.
Investigated a case of a Written Threats to kill a Sheriff and a Judge by a foreign citizen who was later convicted, sentenced and then deported.
Arrested the first juvenile in the United States to be charged with Federal Armed Carjacking in conjunction with the FBI.
Identified the mummified human remains of a murdered woman by placing her clothes on a mannequin with an artist rendering on America's Most Wanted. This was the first time AMW depicted an unidentified victim on their show.
Investigated the first murder at the Broward County Jail wherein one mentally challenged inmate strangled another mentally challenged inmate with shoelaces.
Investigated the first documented double murder of the millennium (2000) in Broward County that was committed by the wife’s husband, who fled to New Jersey. The case was solved with bloody footwear impressions and a confession. Life
Effected the first arrest of a Bahamian National for the murders of three women who drowned at sea during a human smuggling venture near Pompano Beach. I created a Federal Multi-Agency Human Smuggling Task Force termed “Operation Lost at Sea". All documented deaths of migrants were solved.
Investigated the deaths of four people and a dog who walked through a puddle of water electrified by a downed FPL powerline in Weston during Hurricane Irene.
Investigated the death of a propane gas worker who was crushed to death when a propane loading arm toppled on him at Port Everglades.

Investigated the death of a shiphand aboard a Danish freighter at Port Everglades who was crushed by an intoxicated colleague operating a forklift. Arrested the operator for DUI Manslaughter and his trial was held in Denmark.
Investigated the tragic accident of a Roofer who fell four stories to his death at a worksite that wasn't equipped with safety barriers. The company was cited by OSHA.
Investigated the death of a construction worker who fell forteen stories down an elevator shaft that was missing safety supports. The company was cited by OSHA.
